OUR HISTORY

Founder driven

Hubbard & Hudson is a partnership between Brin Hubbard and Jake Hudson—two individuals with a combined 25 years in the construction industry. With experience in all aspects of the construction process, from pre-construction services to field operations, Brin and Jake continue to be involved in every project from start to finish. At Hubbard & Hudson, we approach every project, together with the client, as a unified team in order to execute and navigate the challenges of the construction process. The complexities and uniqueness of every project drive us to perform, and the satisfaction of a job well done continues to be the foundation for our success.

Oconee State Bank

Hubbard & Hudson transformed a 3,800-square-foot retail end cap into a fully functional banking office for Oconee State Bank's expansion into the Statesboro market. The project balanced immediate operational needs with strategic design for future growth.

Coastal Drug

Hubbard & Hudson designed and constructed a modern 6,200-square-foot facility for Coastal Drug in Midway, Georgia. The new building not only accommodated the pharmacy's immediate expansion needs but also incorporated flexible space for future growth and additional healthcare services.
A covered picnic pavilion with multiple tables and benches is set in a wooded park area with tall trees and autumn leaves on the ground. The pavilion has a metal roof and stone accents around the base.

Wildlife Center

Hubbard & Hudson modernized and expanded the Wildlife Center's facilities at Georgia Southern University, creating enhanced spaces for both events and educational programming. The project included updating an outdoor pavilion and repurposing unused interior space for field trips and community gatherings.

Vyve

Hubbard & Hudson constructed a 4,380-square-foot office building for Northland Communications (now Vyve) in downtown Statesboro. The design pays homage to the historic train station that originally occupied the site, creating a building that honors the location's heritage.

Uptown Cheapskate

Hubbard & Hudson executed a retail buildout that combined two separate retail spaces into a single 4,900-square-foot location for Uptown Cheapskate's franchise opening in Statesboro. The project created an open, inviting shopping environment while maintaining essential back-of-house functionality.

Liberty County Fire Station

Hubbard & Hudson constructed a new 4,800-square-foot East End Fire Station for Liberty County Fire Service in Midway, Georgia. The facility addresses the fire service's growing operational needs with modern amenities and expanded equipment storage.

Emma Kelly Theater

Hubbard & Hudson led the restoration of the historic Emma Kelly Theater in Statesboro, addressing critical structural failures while preserving the building's historic character. Working with local designers and the City of Statesboro, the team restored the theater's original appearance and color palette.

Georgia Southern Botanical Garden

Hubbard & Hudson partnered with Georgia Southern University to create a welcoming entrance feature for the Botanic Garden that serves multiple functions while maintaining harmony with the natural landscape. The project emphasized sustainability by repurposing an abandoned structure and integrating it seamlessly into the garden environment.

Hubbard and Hudson Construction handled the build out for our Uptown Cheapskate store, and overall it was a solid experience. We're happy with how the store turned out and enjoyed working with Jake and his team.
