Wildlife Center

Hubbard & Hudson modernized and expanded the Wildlife Center's facilities at Georgia Southern University, creating enhanced spaces for both events and educational programming. The project included updating an outdoor pavilion and repurposing unused interior space for field trips and community gatherings.

About the Project

The Wildlife Center needed to update its pavilion to better accommodate events while expanding facilities to support growing educational programming. The center required versatile spaces that would serve diverse functions while maintaining its natural, educational atmosphere. Hubbard & Hudson worked closely with Georgia Southern and the Wildlife Center to modernize the outdoor pavilion with new hardscapes, a fountain, stone walls, and updated architectural components. We also transformed unused interior space into an additional structure designed for hosting field trips and outdoor events. These improvements enhanced the center's capacity to serve students, families, and the community with more versatile spaces for wildlife education and environmental programming.
A covered picnic pavilion with multiple tables and benches is set in a wooded park area with tall trees and autumn leaves on the ground. The pavilion has a metal roof and stone accents around the base.

Hubbard and Hudson Construction handled the build out for our Uptown Cheapskate store, and overall it was a solid experience. We're happy with how the store turned out and enjoyed working with Jake and his team.

Vyve

Hubbard & Hudson constructed a 4,380-square-foot office building for Northland Communications (now Vyve) in downtown Statesboro. The design pays homage to the historic train station that originally occupied the site, creating a building that honors the location's heritage.
